The Raine Story

RAINE is a five-piece modern rock band from Cullman, Alabama. We play a strong mix of modern rock, country favorites, older crowd-pleasers, and original music. Our set list can move from Paramore and Journey to Metallica, Carrie Underwood, The Killers, and Miranda Lambert. Whatever we play, it usually ends up with a little more rock in it.

Our singer, Sophie “Raine” Henry, began performing professionally on Nashville’s Lower Broadway when she was just 13 years old. She spent several years fronting house bands and playing four-hour shows alongside experienced Nashville musicians. In 2025, she decided she wanted a band of her own.

She brought in Eric Figueroa on lead guitar, Matt Landers on drums, and Brady Smith on bass. She also convinced her dad, Lee Henry, to pick up a guitar again after more than 20 years away from performing.

RAINE released its first single, “Do You Even Know My Name,” in June 2025. The song has received airplay around the world, and more original music is on the way.

We can play everything from a one-hour festival set to a complete three- or four-hour night. We have our own PA, show up prepared, and take the job seriously. Most importantly, we want people to recognize the songs, stick around, and have a good time.
